GENERAL GUIDELINES for ANY PROPOSAL to DEVELOP
VILLAGE OWNED LAND

Any proposal to develop Village land must be evaluated in light of short- and long-term or projected impacts on the Village and community and on the rural character of the Village and the Township. Specifically, evaluations should consider

1. general and relative benefits to the citizens of the Village and of the Township;

2. economic impact on the health and well-being of the Village's central business district;

3. environmental impact;

4. visual impact;

5. accessibility. especially with consideration to the proposed use of the land;

6. integration with surrounding areas, including but not limited to environmental and visual concerns;

7. impact on Village and Township support services.
