in the community, and by developing good leaders for its charitable, civic, cultural, economic, educational, religious,

Leadership Yellow Springs
is founded in the belief that:
- Good leaders are those whose actions are grounded in a commitment to stewardship,
trusteeship and service to the organization and the community.
- Communities can deliberately create their desired future.
- Learning is often a communal act.
- Leadership comes in many forms, from many parts of the community.
- Leadership training can be of great benefit to the individual, as well as, the
community.
- The community environment is important to the development of good leadership
and good leadership is important to the development of the community environment.
- A positive vision of the future, based on shared values and ideals, generates
greatness in institutions, people. and communities.
