Leadership Yellow Springs is founded in the belief that:

• Good leaders are those whose actions are grounded in a commitment to stewardship, trusteeship and service to the organization and the community.

• Learning is often a communal act.

• Leadership comes in many forms, from many parts of the community.

• Leadership training can be of great benefit to the individual, as well as, the community.

• The community environment is important to the development of good leadership and good leadership is important to the development of the community environment.

• A positive vision of the future, based on shared values and ideals, generates greatness in institutions, people. and communities.
