Description of Organization:
Community Solutions works to reduce energy
use everywhere through local community and personal action. Our mission
is to provide knowledge and practices to support low energy lifestyles,
with a primary focus on reducing energy consumption in the household
sectors of food, transportation and housing. Community Solutions
organizes an annual “U.S. Conference on Peak Oil and Community
Solutions” and produces reports, article, and films, most recently the
award-winning The Power of Community: How Cuba Survived Peak Oil.
