Description of Organization:
The Yellow Springs Community Foundation is a tax-exempt, public,
charitable foundation established primarily to benefit the citizens of
Yellow Springs and Miami Township, regardless of race, color, creed,
sex, sexual orientation, or political persuasion. The mission of the
foundation is to enhance community life by supporting a broad array of
activities, which include: assisting public, educational, charitable
institutions; helping the elderly, the sick, and the socially
disadvantaged; promoting the arts and other cultural activities;
supporting public recreation, conservation, and environmental
improvement; promoting scientific research;
and providing scholarships.
